The Hsiung Lab (pronounced sh-OWN) is a biomedical research group with interests in synthetic gene regulation, combinatorial genetics, and tissue biology.

We are especially interested in studying and engineering emergent properties of genetic elements, at scale. In the long-term, we aim to develop therapeutic strategies to target pathophysiologic processes that contribute to common diseases with the highest global burden.
